Hi. I’m Amber.
Guess which one is me…
Nope. That one isn’t me.
This is me.
Mother of four.
Wife to him.
And this is our first-born.
Her name is Daisy.
But sometimes we call her Crazy Daisy.
Because she is.
I love her anyway.
And no, that is not a real cat. I’m highly allergic.
and this is a picture of two elephants…
…I took in TJ Maxx on a date with my husband {yes, a date in TJ Maxx}. He said, “Hey, that reminds me of Carrie.” {one of my college roommates} And I said, “Yeah, it does.” So I took a picture. Carrie, this is for you.
Now, come find me on the interwebz and let’s be friends!!

Amber! I’m so glad you stumbled upon my blog because now I have a new blog to stalk…I mean follow. I think we must be kindred spirits because:
a- we both enjoy weird faces.
b- we both use the word “yowzers.” I thought I was the only one.
Also, my students just taught me how to “spam” someone on Instagram and I did it to you. It’s where you like lots of their pictures so they’ll notice you. Sounds pretty pathetic, I realize, but I actually am pretty pathetic:) So if you’re wondering, “Who the heck is Hardy Har Har”? It’s me:)
I just clicked on your link from the hope spoken conference coming to Dallas. Email me! Where are you guys now. We are in Fort Worth. Still adjusting… And living in an apartment with four kids. Good times. Betsy
Amber – thanks for checking out my blog. I am really enjoying being in the blogging world in the company of fellow wives of doctors. Your blog is so real and in the little I have read I feel like I already know you and your personality from your writing. Cannot wait to read more!

Thanks so much Amy. I am so thankful for the blogging world and the community too. I wish it would have been like this when we started 11 years ago! It probably wouldn’t have felt so lonely.
Just found your blog through the Five Minute Friday link up. Happy to be a new follower :)

Amber,
You have such a great sense of humor! I love your blog! Keep up the great work & interesting subjects.
Thanks Raymonde!
Just found you and I’m so excited and blessed already! :)
I subscribed! Can’t wait to read more!
Hi Tara! So happy you are here :)
Wow, you sure have a great sense of humor. Love your blog and will continue to follow.
Thanks Pam! So glad you stopped by!
I love that that mat reminded you of Carrie! Miss you and our fun times!
the funny thing was that it wasn’t even me that thought of it first! Couldn’t believe he actually remembered that about her:)
I am from the generation before you and am incredibly impressed that you are both so down to earth that a date in TJ Maxx is acceptable. We need to stop being pretentious and attempting to impress others with false views of ourselves. Kudos to you both!
Hi Robin- don’t give us too much credit. Our “dates” are really just time to spend together and reconnect with our busy schedules. I am NOT a fan of getting dressed up (though my husband is). Dressing up would be me wearing flats instead of flip flops :)
You brighten my day!
Thanks Brittney! you just made me smile :) xo
