It is time…

I’ve been feeling the push lately. But like always, I stuff it down. But this time, it keeps coming back and I just can’t ignore it anymore.

These women.

This organization.

These cuffs.

be still

And you’re going…huh?

Well, I’m going back.

It’s been almost 18 months since my first trip to Uganda and almost a year since my second. I’ve shared bits and pieces with some friends about why I went, how I got connected, what it was like, and so on. But I have always held back while sharing. Well, I don’t want to hold back anymore.

I want to share my story of how in the darkest time in my life, a seed of hope was planted. That seed was Uganda.

How 4 years after that seed was planted, I found myself on a plane to Uganda with a team I had never met. How the online business classes I took (wasn’t sure why I was taking them) would play a huge role in my going. How my research and passion for my “aWEARness Project” would come into play.

So I invite you, local Birmingham friends, to come and hear this story. Hear how hope is alive in a small town in rural Uganda. Hear how you can be a part of that hope. Hear our big plans and how your purchase of a leather cuff is going to set some amazing things in motion (and make a great Christmas gift)!

It is time…. so, save the date:

Monday, November 16th,

8:00am or 6:30 pm.

Call or email me with any questions or to get my address

And for those of you who cannot make it, I would love for you to be a part of this story too. You can, by “Joining my Village” and matching the monthly income of one of our single and widowed mothers…$23. Select “Amoroto Village” when signing up at
